Rates and deadlines:

These will be based on an hourly rate but a maximum fixed fee will be agreed based on an estimation of how long the document should take.

A special rate can be negotiated for individual circumstances and these would be discussed at the outset.

Deadlines will be negotiated at the outset and will recognise the need for response time to any queries from the editor and any additional research deemed necessary.

Terms and Conditions:

A sample of the text will be submitted to establish the nature of the work required and a sample of editing requested by the author. The rates and deadline will be agreed based on this.

Once the rates have been determined and deadline agreed, subject to any changes in the conditions, the manuscript will be submitted.

The manuscript will be submitted either electronically or by regular mail and will be returned in the same format.

EditEnglish will acknowledge receipt of the manuscript by email

The author will retain a copy of the submitted document and a copy of the edited work will be made before return.

Any queries arising during the editing process will be sent to the author by e-mail and delay in response will affect the deadline.

Payment is due within 30 days of the return of the edited document.
