A lecturer and examiner in the history of art at Loughborough University School of Art for most of my academic career I became coordinator of a 5 year, European-wide research project, Changing Media – Changing Europe funded by the European Science Foundation.  I was based in the Social Sciences Department, Loughborough University

I have created and run the project’s own website
www.changing-media.com and I am responsible for the language editing and proof reading of the books produced – those already in print and those in progress.

I have been associate editor for an international academic journal, The European Journal of Communication, Sage Publications.

For many years I wrote examination papers in the History of Art for the Welsh Examination Board, and both wrote and edited reports for the Board.  I am currently examination paper reviser in Advanced Level Art and Design.
